I joined Paracle in my search for a financial planning firm full of high-character, highly capable people. The conflict-free nature of the planning and investment management service Paracle provides really separated it from others in the industry. The opportunity to serve clients based solely on what’s best for the client is something I knew I’d be proud to do each day.
Bringing peace-of-mind to the families we serve is incredibly rewarding and my favorite part of delivering financial advice. It’s a great feeling to take stress off those we serve when they know that we are in their corner and constantly looking out for their financial wellness.
Getting to know our families is tons of fun and helps us better serve them. Just as there is so much more to people than their finances, there is so much more to a financial plan than numbers. The wholistic approach we take to financial planning goes beyond just investment management, as we work to ensure our families are confident in all aspects of their financial lives.
From my days playing competitive sports, I’m familiar with the special feeling that exists when you’re surrounded by great teammates that you can depend on. There’s an indescribable feeling that the team is going to be successful no matter what. My goal is to deliver that feeling to our families each day, as they know that Paracle is here for them. Personally, I get that feeling from those that I’m fortunate enough to work with, as everyone brings a valuable skillset and attitude to the team.

Why did you choose a baseball as your prop?
I’ve been obsessed with sports my entire life (“ball” was my first word). Baseball has always been my favorite sport to play and is what brought me to attend Gonzaga University. In addition to getting to pitch in some amazing atmospheres and travel around the country with a great team, I met my wife and many of my best friends at GU. A majority of my best memories are either playing sports and/or shared with people that sports brought into my life.
What else do you do like to do for fun?
My wife, Colleen, and I love to hike up to alpine lakes and take in mountain views. I also coach high school basketball, which is tons of fun and keeps me busy and dry during those winter months. Whenever I can, I sneak in a round of golf or at least a bucket of balls at the range.
If you could trade places with any person or movie character for a day, who would it be and why?
Justin Verlander. November 1, 2017. (Game 7 of the World Series). Feeling what it’s like to throw 100mph and make Major League hitters look foolish would be incredible. On top of that, I’d get the last out to win the World Series. Not bad for a Wednesday.
