As an Associate Advisor, I collaborate with clients and the rest of their Paracle team to create financial plans that align with their long-term goals. Using financial tools, I analyze different options and create recommendations so that our clients can make well-informed decisions. I continuously check to make sure our clients’ portfolios are on-target to achieve their goals and monitor the plan’s success over time. The Advisor and I communicate the progress to the families we serve so they are confident in each aspect of their financial life.
I chose to start working at Paracle because I could quickly tell how passionate they were for both their clients and employees. Their ideal client resonated with me since moderately wealthy people often have more uncertainty in their finances and need more help planning their goals than higher net-worth clientele. It was also important for me to see that my next company gave back to their community and had a high level of women in leadership roles, which Paracle fit perfectly. I knew that Paracle would be the perfect place for me and that I would have plenty of opportunity to grow within the company as my career progressed.
What I like most about serving others is building a relationship with them. Finances are often an extremely personal subject, and without transparency and trust, our services are not as effective. Knowing exactly what keeps our clients up at night or just being a friend to vent to about their anxieties is sometimes the best way to help. And if it’s bigger than that, we work to find a solution that works within their financial wants and needs. Serving others for me is all about becoming a partner to help them through life.
The best part about being a Paracle team member is the company culture – there is a high level of flexibility and trust towards other team members. Everyone is always open to help you or to talk, no matter how busy they are. There is also a lot of opportunity to learn since you are working and connecting with so many people. Everyone is happy to go into work and this attitude is reflected in our client relationships.
The core value of inquisitive stands out most to me. It is so easy to get in the mindset of thinking that something is “good enough” and to not ask questions or look at how something cold be better. Constantly asking questions – whether of the client to better understand their situation or in working on their plan with other team members – is the best way to make sure that we are implementing the best option for those we serve.
