As the Director of Operations, one of my main roles is to ensure that our team is ready and able to satisfy the financial needs of the families we serve. I strive to keep up with ever-changing technology, to simplify our processes, and to continually improve our services.
The values of the firm and the purposeful culture of integrity and service were determining factors in my decision to join the Paracle team.
I get a strong sense of satisfaction from finding solutions to problems and knowing that those efforts help my team members and our clients lead a less stressful and more fulfilling life.
The best part about Paracle is the shared sense of purpose. Every member of the team has different strengths and areas of expertise, but we all share a set of values and a common desire to help the families we serve achieve their goals.
Honesty and integrity are characteristics that I value highly. We obviously have a fiduciary responsibility to put our client’s interests first, but it goes well beyond that in my mind. It’s important that our clients know that honesty will be the bedrock of our relationship, and that we’ll give them the same level of service, guidance, and care that we would give our best friend.

Why did you choose your prop?
I took up woodworking a few years ago and really enjoyed it. I find the process of taking an idea in my head and turning it into something tangible & real in the workshop very satisfying. Beyond that, I love the creative aspect of incorporating the natural beauty of wood into the design of an object.
What else do you do like to do for fun?
I love traveling with my wife, cooking for friends and family, sipping wine on the porch, touring historic homes, quiet afternoons reading, and sometimes I think golf is fun.
If you could trade places with any person or movie character for a day, who would it be and why?
This might be cheating (or maybe it’s just greedy), but I’d be Phil Connors in Groundhog Day. There never seems to be enough time to get everything done that I’d like to do or to learn all the things that I’d like to learn, so I could pack thousands of days into that one day and turn myself into the Ken I’ve always wanted to be!
