As an Associate Advisor at Paracle, I use analytical tools and analysis to ensure that financial plans are documented and achievable. My goal is to help communicate this to the Lead Advisor and the clients we serve. I continually review investment portfolios to confirm they remain in alignment with long-term strategic allocations and objectives. Additionally, I review plan progress over time and work with Lead Advisors to help monitor, implement, and communicate that progress to ensure the families we serve feel confident in all aspects of their financial life
I chose to work at Paracle because I have always had an interest in Financial Planning. I wanted to work for a firm that provides the conflict-free financial planning environment that allows us to focus on the planning and not have any decisions depend on compensation. Paracle truly focuses on the client and upholds its fiduciary responsibility.
While it can be stressful during difficult financial markets, I love when a plan comes together, and I can help a client reduce stress while improving the probability that they will meet their goals. The care I have for clients and the desire to do great work drives me every day.
The best part about being a member of the Paracle team is the teamwork culture. Working with others really allows us all to do our best – whether it’s internal Paracle colleagues or great partners with specialties outside the firm. Our job is to bring it all together for clients to ensure they get good advice to help them accomplish what’s important to them.
Simple is one of Paracle’s core values that stands out to me. Attention spans have never been shorter it seems. You must be able to simplify industry jargon into a concise everyday conversation to perform your job effectively.

What else do you do like to do for fun?
I like going to UW football games, watching sports (Seahawks/Sounders), drinking wine playing board games, playing soccer, and watching movies.
If you could trade places with any person or movie character for a day, who would it be and why?
Han Solo. He is larger than life in ways we all want to be – free to roam the universe. It would be awesome zooming around in the Millennium Falcon with Chewie.
Why did you choose your prop?
I chose my skiing goggles. Skiing one of my favorite hobbies and is a great way to stay active during the winter. Plus, the weekend skiing trips to Whistler/Park City/etc. with friends are always so much fun!
